It’s been a different year this year, hasn’t it? Since that fateful day back in March when the country was placed into lockdown, we’ve been plagued by the COVID-19 pandemic and even had a second national lockdown to contend with recently.
Now that things have started to ease off following the aforementioned lockdown, it’s that time of the year again, the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas. Thankfully, we’ll all be able to spend time with some of our family this festive season as a result of the “Christmas Bubble” that has been brought in by the Government. From the team here at Nettletons, we would just like to place on record our thanks to all of you, our wonderful, supportive customers for sticking with us in 2020.
We have been busy in the shop since we were allowed to open back up and the Christmas rush has been in as full a flow as it can be given the social distancing guidance that we’ve all got to adhere to in order to keep one another safe.
If you’re planning a trip to the shop to get that perfect piece of jewellery for your loved one, our festive opening hours are as follows… From Monday 14th December to Sunday 20th December, we are open as normal from 9am to 5:15pm apart from Thursday 17th where we will be open until 7pm for late night shopping and Sunday 20th where we will also be extending our hours from 10am to 4pm.
Then in the build-up to Christmas, we will be open as normal on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (9am to 5:15pm) but we will be closing our doors for Christmas on Christmas Eve, Thursday 24th December, at 5pm. We won’t be back open then until Monday 28th December where it will be normal opening hours, aside from New Years’ Day when we will be shut.
If you’re more of an online shopper, then make sure you get your orders in as soon as possible for delivery in time for Christmas. We will be working towards the Royal Mail’s cut off dates for Christmas delivery which are Monday 21st December for 1st class signed for delivery and Wednesday 23rd December for special delivery guaranteed. Obviously, you will need to select your delivery option at checkout, and we will do everything we can here at Nettletons Jewellers to ensure your purchase gets to you in time!
