Caring for your watch is paramount to maintain accurate timekeeping and protect the longevity of your watch. Over time the parts within your watch will wear and may not run at the required standard, causing your watch to loose/gain time or stop working all together; this is due to the complexity of the moving parts within your watch. Watches, unlike most other technology, never stop for a rest. A regular watch service can help to ensure your watches will withstand the test of time, without such care and attention, even the finest watches will lose accuracy and reliability in their performance.

Our watch services include:

Every watch that we service passes through quality control before you collect it, whereby our watch technician test your watch to ensure it is in full working order and the service has been successful.

Our watch technicians are brand accredited specialists, who are committed to providing you with a quality service. Once your watch is serviced, you will be provided with a 12 month service guarantee, giving you the contentment that the work has been completed to a quality standard. In the unlikely event of the watch malfuntioning, or anything going wrong within the 12 month service warranty period, Nettletons will gladly service the watch again for you.

Our technicians are experienced in repairing all types of watches, including those with the following movements:

The timescale for carrying out a watch service varies significantly. The make of watch, and the level of repairs required can all have implications on a time frame. As an estimated timescale we would expect your watch repair to take 3 weeks, however please note that more prestigious watches and watch brands can take upwards of 6 weeks.

The price we charge for a watch service depends entirely on the condition of the watch and the level of repairs required. We therefore recommend that you contact us and organise to have your watch assessed in-store before we can quote a specific price. As a guideline we would recommend you have your watch serviced every 3-5 years as minimum, particularly with automatic watches. This is simply to maintain the condition of the parts within your watch, keep the watch functioning and ensure that your timepiece maintains accurate timekeeping. Ultimately the choice is yours, and some individuals choose to have a watch serviced more regularly than others.
